I started stitching this little bunch of lavender the other day to calm my nerves while waiting for a massive storm to come in. Of course, I ditched it for the bathtub when the tornado sirens went off and spent a good minute crammed in there with three babies and the cat. 🥺 In all of my years in Oklahoma, I’ve never experienced anything like this in October. Our windows are shattered, the cars have some damage, but I’m incredibly grateful for our luck and safety. Now I just have to figure out what to do with this little stitching. It’s finally October! ✨ I took a huge step for myself this week and ordered my very first sewing machine. I’ve been working on some lil projects while waiting for it to arrive, like these embroidered antique metal bookmarks which will be appearing in my shop this weekend. 💕

No idea where it came from, but I’ve always had a love for itty bitty things. When I was a kid, my biggest dream was to be tiny enough to live in a Polly Pocket house and idk if I ever let go of that dream 🥺
